Static Images I’ve been on the prowl for several years now for the perfect solution to bridge that communication gap between designers and developers. I’m a “graphic” (read: print) designer turned web designer turned UX designer. Like many print-turned-web designers, I started with Photoshop as my primary communication tool. My first hand-off to developers involved static images made in Photoshop thrown over the fence with crossed fingers that a decent-looking screen would come out alive.

Aviture and its employees are joining in supporting the Heartland Chapter of the national T1D research organization, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), for the second year in a row. Aviture’s President Mark Griffis has participated in the organization for multiple years as a board member and active supporter. The entire Aviture family also rallies around the cause, with employees and their families from HQ participating in the Omaha walk and other activities to help raise funds. We’re proud to engage in efforts in the community and support our friends and loved ones who face the reality of T1D every day.
