The Garage By Aviture is excited to announce its second Speaker Series - Neal Ford, Software Architect and Director at ThoughtWorks. Building Microservice Architectures His talk, Building Microservice Architectures, describes this architectural style, as exemplified by Netflix and Amazon, as the first post-DevOps revolution architecture. Ford describes the larger context, what problem is being solved, characteristics of microservice architectures, and engineering best practices.

Aviture was awarded a contract to modernize the current Air Force Surveillance Intelligence Reconnaissance Information Systems (SIRIS), developing a next-gen system to utilize the latest visualization technologies and to align the architecture with existing and emerging Air Force and DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency) technology standards.

Aviture has been added as key teammate to the Agile Cyber Technologies (ACT) contract managed by the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). The contract will support rapid research, development, prototyping, demonstration, evaluation, and transition of cyber solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD).
